Thank you to everyone who submitted a little something into Lisa’s birthday project,I will now put everything onto a cd and get it sent off :)

I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to donate screen captures of Lisa’s movies ‘Marci X’,'Clockwatchers’ or ‘Lucky Numbers’ to the site? Where I live those three arent available on dvd so I cannot cap them myself.Credit will be given of course, and it would be so much appreciated!
Email webmiss@l-kudrow.org if you would like to donate those or anything else :)

Lisa Kudrow reckons television rather than film offers better roles for women nowadays.

“That’s been true for a while,” says the star, who made her name playing ditzy Phoebe Buffay in Friends. “There are just more interesting roles for women and a lot more female vehicles on TV.

“A lot of women watch TV. And I think one of the goals for networks is how do we get them in.

“They try to come up with shows about NASCAR drivers or something. But if a man can watch ESPN instead of a sitcom, then how are you going to get his attention?”

However, after Friends, and her HBO comedy series The Comeback ended in 2005, Lisa is concentrating on her movie career with new film Powder Blue coming out later this year.

“It’s a really great movie,” she says. “It’s got Forrest Whittaker, Jessica Biel, Patrick Swayze and Ray Liotta in it. It’s a great cast.”

There are no plans for a rumoured big-screen version of Friends, film studio Warner Bros has told the BBC.

Since the success of the Sex and the City movie, there has been constant speculation that the US sitcom’s six stars had agreed to their own film.

One UK press report even suggested that the first scenes would be shot within the next 18 months.

However, Warner Bros’ director of publicity in the UK, Jayne Trotman, said there was “no truth in the story”.

Ever since the quipping sextet – Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc – parted ways four years ago there have been rumours of a reunion.

‘Right circumstances’

Earlier this week, an unnamed source was quoted as saying: “Jennifer, Courtney and the rest of cast are keen to reprise their roles, under the right circumstances.

“The success of Sex and the City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right.”

But Cox Arquette’s publicist, John Fogelman, told the BBC he did not know of any plans for a film.

Matthew Perry’s spokesperson, Lisa Kasteler, added: “Nothing is happening in this regard, so the rumour is false.”

The final episode of Friends drew a US audience of 52.5m, while 8.6m viewers watched it in the UK.

The movie version of Sex and the City took $55.7m (

A new interview for Kabluey has just popped up.

KW: Hi Lisa, thanks for the time. I’m really honored to be speaking with you.

LK: Sure.

KW: I’ve got four pages of questions for you, some from fans who I’d alerted that I’d be interviewing you.

LK: Uh-oh.

KW: What interested you in this film and gave you the confidence to go with a first-time director like Scott Prendergast?

LK: Well, I’ve had good experiences with first-time directors, especially with director-writers, because they wrote it and know what the story is since they saw it as they were writing it. In Scott’s case, I could tell from the script that he saw it as he was writing. There was nothing in there that made think, “Gee, that would be impossible to shoot.” And then I spoke with him on the phone and he wasn’t crazy, but just a smart, funny guy. Also, it turned out by coincidence that we had mutual friends since he had been in The Groundlings program.
